Went to the Royal Plaza Hotel on Scotts with the secretaries and some colleagues from HR for site inspection during lunch hours... We were supposed to depart from our office tower at 12.15 pm but but.. the driver was late! He reached at 12.50 pm! We stood outside the tower to wait for the vehicle, expecting some warmth as the air-con inside was super duper cold but it didn't get better - the wind was blowing strongly outside. So we braved the wind for 35 mins! Well.. it got better when we reached the hotel. The sales person changed the agenda. Instead of doing the tour around the hotel first, he brought us to the restaurant for lunch which more or less helped to "pacify" our dampened mood. The buffet lunch is really nice and sumptuous! Lunch took us about 1.5 hours. In all, we spent about 3 hours in the hotel, including time taken for site tour. So it was 4.10 pm when we reached our office... It seemed like I din work much today.. Guess this helps to replenish my brain cells.. :)
