This week is a breather for me. I'm so glad that my boss and colleague are on vacation, so I can have more time to clear up the "mess" at comfort. Emails and work are accumulating; many follow-up. Hmm there are still many things to learn. I'm still a "baby-toddler" in the corporate world. When things seem to be black, it might not be so. The black can in fact be white. Never assume, never take thing as it is. It's important to question and listen. James 1:18-20 Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. When thing does not go your way, stay composed and take it in your stride. Take it this way... If everything goes smooth-sailing, when will we learn. You grow out tougher in tough times. It really takes me a long time to realise it, though sometimes I might fall into that "slum" again.
It's so funny that my company clique nicknamed me "R3". They formed a Robot Inc. and recruited me! So R stands for Robot & I'm the third member. Haha. The criteria for Robot Inc. is people say, you do, and just do. Basically, they have already conformed to doing, and no longer challenge the status quo as much becoz most of what they said got rebuked or rejected! Well, having said that, those people are a joy to be with and they are still serious worker. Not a bit of them made me feel that they are slacking.
Random thought... Do you really have to keep your boss in the loop on EVERYTHING you're doing? Guess it's a yes... I find it so hard. It's like trying to get in your boss' good book. Some stuffs are simply unrelated, Why bother your boss?! I wonder why people like to put so many unrelated people on copy in an email...
