You must be wondering what am I doing at this hour? Can Winnie blog during work time? Neh, "YOU ARE BLOCKED. Please contact your administrator if you want to get access to this site." IT blocks us from hotmail, msn, blogspot, friendster, even ntu email, more and more for IP purpose. So Winnie is not in office now :)
Guess I mentioned before, I've been receiving emails from a cell group whom I do not know. Nevertheless, a couple of them are good and encouraging emails. So I "discreetly" continued to be in their email distribution list. The following is one email I received from this bedok cell. It might not be applicable to you now, but I believe God does "customise" Psalm 23 to every one of us. One that is close to our heart :)
Laughter is God's medicine - here's a good interpretation of Psalm 23.....
Psalm 23 (For the Work Place) The Lord is my real boss. He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me. He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining. He reminds me that He is my source and not my job. He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions that I might honor Him in all that I do. Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes,unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn't cooperate every morning, I still will not stop - for He is with me! His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through. He raises me up, even when they fail to recognise my efforts. He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go. His Faithfulness and Love is better than any bonus cheque. His retirement plan beats any plan there is! When it's all said and done, I'll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, I BLESS HIS NAME!!!!!!
Don't worry, work is ok for me. :) Just that the above serves to prepare me when thing isn't going well. My bro always say, "Jie ah, it's really God's grace that you got this job. Flexible time (I know he meant can afford to be late. haha) and get to travel. Not bad leh." Yes, it's really by God's grace.
Side-tracking... The Taiwanese drama that I watched with my mum before I started work is still showing! 1 year, 4 months! How can a drama last for SO LONG! 意难忘 The Unforgettable Memory at 4.30 pm if you're interested :)
