Hello!! Greetings from Melbourne! :)

Beautiful beautiful city! Some parts of the streets reminded me of Belgium.

Arrived safely at 3 plus am Sing time on Sat. Surprisingly, it's quite chilly in Melbourne! Though it's summer turning spring, temperature record at 12 degree c when I arrived!

Got checked in at Claremont Guest House at around 5 am. Thank God the room was already cleared and ready for check in. Well, it's a really basic room. Double-deck beds; shared common toilet. We need cheap hotel and food! "Uncle C" will only pay for our accommodation & food starting Monday. Even though Sing-Aussie exchange rates are on par, Aussie food is much more expensive! Bottled Coke AUD 3.50; my fav kinder brueno AUD2.50.

A fruitful Saturday. My Aussie colleague and her husband brought us to Halesville Sanctuary, the Australian zoo! Today we went to the Great Ocean Road. A 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne. Simply gorgeous and lovely! You'd never want to miss it! :)

Hmm work will officially start tomorrow. Quite crazy schedule. Mon - Wed in Melbourne; then a 6-hr drive to a small town, Wagga Wagga on Wed. I know fri will come soon :)
